Library Instruction
If an instructor would like to schedule a library instruction session for an entire class, just fill out a request form at least two weeks before the requested date and turn in the form to the library reference desk. The Instruction/Outreach Librarian, Billy Pashaie, will contact you to confirm the date and assignment. Cypress TILT
The library also provides "Cypress TILT", a self-paced tutorial, available through the library web site. TILT is comprised of four interactive modules: Module One: Principles of Selecting Sources Module Two: Principles of Searching for Information Module Three: Principles of Evaluating Sources Module Four: Practice using the principles with resources from the Cypress College Library Cypress TILT (self-paced tutorial)

Handouts
The Cypress College Library has a wide variety of library-specific handouts. Copies of these handouts are available in the Information Kiosk near the library reference desk. Click here for electronic versions of these handouts.

Research Guides
The Cypress College Library has created a wide variety of research guides to help you get started. The resources covered in these guides will include some that are available through the Cypress College Library and others that are available freely on the Internet. This is only a starting point; for more detailed information come to the library and ask for assistance at the Reference Desk.
