‘The Affordable Care Act: Obamacare, for You’ Presentation on March 4 and 10
Cypress College, in conjunction with the Legal Aid Society of Orange County and the Health Consumer Alliance, is hosting a free presentation to help students understand the new Affordable Care Act law, and the opportunities it may present for them.
The presentation — “The ‘Affordable Care Act,’ Obamacare, for You” — will be held on Tuesday, March 4, at 11 a.m., and repeated on Monday, March 10, at 5 p.m. Both sessions will take place in the campus’ Cypress College Complex, Room 414.
It is focused for students, providing information about enrollment in the program. It also offers insight to the opportunities the legislation will have for students, including potential eligibility for Medi-Cal or tax subsidies through the Covered California initiative.
