Cypress College’s 15th Annual Parent Night event for graduating which school seniors and their parents will be held on Wednesday (April 23, 2014). The event will take place in the Campus Theater, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. One student will receive a $300 scholarship for participation in Parent Night. The event is free, including parking in Lot #1, near the college’s main entrance on Valley View Street.
Parent Night includes a college fair and resource tables hosted by Cypress College faculty and staff between 5:30-6:30 p.m. More than 30 academic programs will be represented. Entertainment and light refreshments will also be served.
The event continues from 6:30-7:30 with an overview of the application, registration, and matriculation process. Questions about admissions, financial aid, registrations, programs, and available classes will also be answered. There will also be discussion of key dates and expectations for new students.
Parent Night concludes with a drawing for a $300 scholarship to a who school senior who attends the event. The criteria for the scholarship is established by the Cypress College Foundation.
