‘People in Motion’ Dance Concert May 8-11 in Theater
People In Motion, Cypress College’s spring-semester dance concert, is on May 8, 9, 10, at 8 p.m., and May 11, at 4 p.m. The performance celebrates the completion of the academic year and showcases the dancers’ skills. People in Motion features works by student choreographers, guest artists and faculty, showcasing the excellence and inclusiveness nurtured at Cypress College.
“Performing Arts, especially dance are an essential and integral part of our educational system. They are about creativity, leadership, focus, integrity, honesty, multi-tasking, collaboration, peaceful outlet, confidence, complex neuromotor skills, tenacity and healthful living. The special, live moments in time and space are priceless and can never be replaced by an App,” said Professor Erin Landry.
Tickets are available at the box office. General admission is $15; students, seniors citizens, and children are $12.
