League of Women Voters Hosting Registration Event

Members of the North Orange County League of Women Voters are hosting a “Register to Vote Campaign” on campus on Tuesday, September 23, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., in front of the Student Activities Center.

The League is a non-partisan group. In addition to registering to vote in the November 4 general election on campus, online registration is available at http://www.registertovote.ca.gov/. Students from the Political Science Department and the Puente Program will assist with the effort.

Volunteers from the non-partisan League will set up information tables to encourage students, faculty, and staff members to register, or update their information, in order to vote in the November 2014 election. The League will also promote the new online voter registration. In addition to Tuesday’s event, the league will also have volunteers at the Anaheim Campus on Tuesday, September 23, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the first floor entryway.

Everything a voter needs to register, update their records, locate polling places, or view a personalized ballot is located at the League’s website: www.smartvoter.org.
