The Web Content Orientation is offered on campus for Flex credit, so please don't forget to have your attendance documented by completing the Web Content Orientation quiz and signing in at the web editor training.

Full time faculty may also earn 1/2 Continuing Education Credit as approved by the North Orange County Community College District by completing all the following activities:

1. Web Content Orientation: Offered as a division meeting or through Staff Development
2. Site Preproduction: Work individually, with your department, or special program members

2. Define your needs
3. Create a site structure
4. Create content for web distribution following website guidelines
3. Web Editor Training, Site Development, and Testing: Offered by Academic Computing and Staff Development
1. Learn how to use the campus web editor
2. Create web site
4. Accessible MS Word Workshop: Offered by Staff Development
1. Create Word documents that will be accessible to a student using assistive technology software such as a screen reader or screen magnifier
2. Apply web accessibility laws when posting Word documents to the web, Blackboard, MyGateway
3. Prepare Word documents to allow for conversion to accessible PDF
5. Accessible PDF Workshop: Offered by Staff Development
1. Create PDF documents that will be accessible to a student using assistive technology
2. Apply web accessibility laws when posting PDFs to the web, Blackboard, MyGateway
