Human Services Generalist Certificate

Human Services is a network of programs and agencies that provide services to those with a variety of needs. The Human Services Generalist prepares for work as an alcohol and drug counselor, a community worker, a developmental disabilities service provider, a rehabilitation worker, a youth worker, a child care worker, or a group counselor. To earn a certificate, complete the required courses as listed with a minimum grade of “C.” At least 50% of all course work must be completed at Cypress College.

To earn a vocational certificate, complete the required courses as listed with a minimum grade of “C.” At least 50% of all course work must be completed at Cypress College. Consult your counselor if you are interested in the General Education classes necessary for an Associate in Arts Degree.
