English 60 - College Writing Preparation

College Writing Preparation prepares students for success in English 100. It is offered both on campus and online. The textbook is The Writer's Workplace With Readings by Scarry & Scarry. In this class, students learn to develop and organize a variety of essays. Reading skills are developed and students learn to apply critical thinking skills as well. Students need to pass this class with a grade of 'C' in order to advance to English 100.
