Online BIOL 160 Integrated Medical Science
BIOL 160, Integrated Medial Science is a 3 unit course. There are three hours lecture per week for the standard on-campus class. Pass/No Pass/Letter Grade Option
The Online class is instructor paced presented in the virtual classroom called Blackboard. There no lab. There are only four mandatory on-campus meetings (see dates below) during the semester.
Transfer Credit: CSU, AA GE
This is a one-semester course that includes a systematic coverage of fundamental physical/chemical principles, basic biological concepts, and the fundamentals of anatomy and physiology. The course is designed for various allied health programs (psychiatric technician, mortuary science, court reporting, etc.) or others who desire a background in human biology.
Mandatory on-campus attendance is required for the entire class period on the following dates and times, no exceptions:
1) Tuesday, 4:00-5:50 p.m., January 25, SEM 124, Orientation
2) Tuesday, 4:00-5:50 p.m., March 1, SEM 124, Exam 1
3) Tuesday, 4:00-5:50 p.m., April 12, SEM 124, Exam 2
4) Tuesday, 4:00-5:50 p.m., May 24, SEM 124, Exam 3
