Hybrid BIOL 231 General Human Anatomy

BIOL 231 General Human Anatomy is a 4 unit course. There are three hours of lecture and three hours of lab per week for the standard on-campus class.
The Hybrid class is instructor paced presented in the virtual classroom called Blackboard with weekly assignments, online quizzes, video tutorials, lecture recordings, and interactive exercises.
The Hybrid class has two 65 minute on-campus lectures and one three hour on-campus lab per week. See lecture times and dates below.

Recommendation/Advisory: High School Biology and Chemistry

This course includes a logical analysis of body tissues, organs, and systems. It stresses the microscopic, developmental, and gross anatomy of mammals, with special emphasis on human anatomy.
Note: For students planning to take BIOL 241, don't even think about taking BIOL 241 without successfully completing a college chemistry course like CHEM 101 with at least a C. If you want a the best possible grade in BIOL 241, take College Chemistry first!!!!
