I joined Cypress College in 2007 after eight years working at Barstow Community College. I served in various leadership roles including Dean of Student Affairs, Director of Special Programs and Services, and Coordinator/Counselor of CalWORKs from 1999-2007.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from University of California, Irvine and master’s degree in Counseling from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). Currently, I am in my last year of graduate work pursuing a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership at CSULB.
Last but not least, I was a community college student and can certainly understand your journey at this point in your life. You are one step closer to one of many degrees. Don't lose hope and let us help you reach your goals.
If you have any questions, I encourage you to contact me so I may assist you further.
