Please be prepared to meet the following expenses that will be incurred for the entire Radiologic Technology Program. **Note: This is an AS Degree Program.

Physical

At student Health Center = $50.00, plus $90.00 for Hepatitis inoculations = $140.00

A tetanus inoculation is part of the physical = free

Background Check

Background checks are mandatory. This cost is approximately $60

Drug Screen

Not all affiliated hospitals require the student to obtain a drug test, however, some do. It will be the student’s responsibility to submit a drug screen if required by the hospital.

Personal Liability Insurance- $40

Personal Health Insurance- $100-200/month

TRANSPORTATION

It is the student’s responsibility to provide their own dependable transportation to and from the clinical facility. Due to the diverse geographical locations of the Radiology Program clinical facilities, it cannot be guaranteed that students will be assigned close to their home or work.

CLINICAL ASSIGNMENTS

Radiography students will be assigned to a clinical facility by the Program faculty. Clinical education centers will require the student to be available for shifts from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. Students will never work from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am shifts. You will be responsible for any ID tag and Film badge the facility requires.
