Institutional Effectiveness

The Institutional Effectiveness Report includes student and staff demographics, institutional outcomes, and quality review results.

High School Reports

Each year we publish an all high school report that describes Cypress College students who recently graduated from local feeder high schools.  The report includes various demographic characteristics, academic preparation, and performance indicators.

Degrees and Certificates

Each year we publish an awards report that includes the number of degrees and certificates awarded for each program.

Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADT)

In Fall 2012, California Community Colleges began offering associate degrees for transfer (ADT) to the California State University (CSU) system. There are two transfer degrees, the Associate in Arts (AA-T) and the Associate in Science (AS-T) that were designed to provide a clear pathway to a CSU major and baccalaureate degree. Each year, we publish a report on our students that have earned either AA-T or AS-T degrees related to where they have transferred.

Additional Degree and Transfer Pathways

Cypress College has historically offered liberal arts associate degrees in six areas: social and behavioral science, math and science, arts and humanities, human communication, general business, and a general liberal arts associate degree path. These liberal arts degrees represent some of the most commonly pursued associate degree pathways. The Liberal Arts Degree Study showcases transfer rates and bachelor degree attainment for these students.

Aside from the growing popularity of transfer degrees and liberal arts associate degree programs at Cypress College, students continue to also pursue California State University (CSU) and University of California (UC) Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) certification. Students looking to transfer to the CSU system can also obtain General Education-Breadth certification to help aid in transfer. Findings related to transfer volume are presented in the June 2017 CSU and UC Certification Report.
