Biography


I am a nursing instructor with a passion for geriatrics.  I love this client population and enjoy teaching nursing students in this field.  I enjoy exposing my students to the resources in the community that helps older adults maintain their independence and promote their health.  I also teach Medical-Surgical  nursing in the program.  In these courses I like to help you develop critical thinking and how to provide safe and effective care to clients in acute care settings.  I want to teach you how to promote justice, excellence, service and dignity with your clients in all the classes that I teach.

NURS 168 C Patient Care Skills-Open Lab

This open-entry, open-exit class with flexible hours and variable units allows self paced individualized instruction and/or practice in client care skills with Health Science faculty supervision.  The environment is a supportive environment with all questions welcomed.
