Greetings! My name is Kendyl Palmer, and I have been teaching at Cypress College since 2014. Prior to joining Cypress, I taught at Mt. San Jacinto College, Orange Coast College, and El Camino College. 

I received my BA from UCLA in English and Psychology, and moved to Brighton, England to earn my MA in Early Modern English Literature and Culture from the University of Sussex.

English 137: College Study Strategies  
This course is designed to help students develop the study skills and habits they will need to be successful in college.  There is a significant difference between high school and college, and this course helps make for a smooth transition.  This course also helps students discover their learning styles using brain-based research.
