Cypress Highlights: A First Team all-Orange Empire Conference selection as a freshman in 2008… started 39 games for Cypress producing the fourth most hits on the team (51)… had .357 batting average and .524 slugging percentage… had five homeruns and nine doubles… went three-for-four including two homeruns and a double against Fullerton on April 17th.
High School Highlights: A standout for the Aztecs earning Second Team all-CIF, First Team all-Sunset League, and the team’s MVP award his senior season… was selected as a Ryan Lemmon All-Star and North-South All-Star… hit .409 as a senior while collecting six homeruns and 31 RBI… went two for three with four RBI, a homerun, and a sacrifice fly against Fountain Valley.
