Cypress Highlights: A second-team All-Orange Empire Conference selection in 2009… finished with a 5-6 record in 19 appearances and 13 starts… had a 3.63 ERA striking out a team high 82 strikeouts… struck out four and allowed just one hit in four innings against Cuesta on April 8th.
High School Highlights: Named the Comanches’ pitcher of the year as a junior… earned Century League Most Valuable Player, and All-Orange County honors as a senior… finished his senior season with a .411 batting average.
Personal: Born on November 15, 1989… parents are Donny and Esther Garcia… siblings are Daniel and Vanessa… majoring in business… came to Cypress because, “it’s the best JC baseball program and I always go for the best.”
