Cypress Highlights: Pitched 52 innings for the Chargers in 2008… led the team in ERA at 2.42… was second on the team in strikeouts with 52… finished the season with a 4-1 record… struck out ten batters in 6.1 innings against Allan Hancock on February 21.
High School Highlights: Was the Vanguard’s Most Valuable Player as a freshman and sophomore… led El Modena to a Century League Championship as a sophomore and senior… was named the Century League’s Pitcher of the Year and Second Team all-County as a senior… was featured in the Senior Showcase and the North/South All-Star game… finished his senior season with a 1.89 ERA, 50 strikeouts, and a 6-2 record.
