Cypress Highlights: Finished his Cypress career ranked eighth in the Charger all time career wins record book with 13. In 2006, Rhodes picked up eight wins in eight starts and 18 appearances with 72.2 innings of work. He struck out 56 batters holding opposing hitters to .268 at the plate. He was named to the Second Team all-Orange Empire Conference and inducted into the Cypress College Hall of Fame. Against Golden West, Rhodes pitched 5.2 innings allowing five hits and just one earned run while striking out seven batters for the win. He is headed to the University of Hawaii next year to finish his collegiate baseball career.
Pitched in 15 games for the Chargers his freshman year starting in 9. Posted a 5-3 record, 4.55 ERA, and 53 strikeouts in over 57 innings of work. Threw a complete game in his first collegiate start against Saddleback.

High School Highlights: In 2001 and 2002, Rhodes was named to the all-district and first team all-league teams.

Notes: His sports idol is Nolan Ryan.
