Cypress Highlights: After transferring from Orange Coast, Young started in 35 games for Cypress in the outfield. Young finished the season batting .297 with 11 doubles and 15 RBI and 12 stolen bases. Against Golden West, Young went three for five including a double for two RBI and a run scored. He is headed to Liberty University next year to finish his collegiate baseball career.

At Orange Coast College: Played in 26 games for the Pirates batting .259 with 10 runs in 58 at bats.

High School Highlights: A first team all-Susnet League selection, led Edison High School to a CIF championship.

Notes: Favorite major league player is Derek Jeter and most respected person in his life is his mother.
