About Professor Dickey

Welcome. I have been working at Cypress College since 1991.  I started as a sign language interpreter and coordinator of services for our deaf students. Since 1997, I have been a member of the English/Reading Dept. I’m also involved with our Title V HSI Grant that developed our English Success Center located in the Library/Learning Resource Center. I love being involved in our campus life through committees that help to support projects and programs for our students’ success!

My favorite areas to teach are our English 57 and English 58 classes.  I love helping students work on strengthening their reading and writing skills so that they are confident and ready for their transfer courses at Cypress College.
