San Marcos, Calif. – The Chargers drove south to San Marcos Thursday to take on the Palomar Comets. Cypress battled with three players scoring in double-digits, but could not overtake the Comets losing 79-87. Freshman Guard
Khalif Boyd for the fourth straight game scoring 18 points while chipping in 4 assists to lead Cypress.
The freshmen laden Chargers had two other first-year players in double-digits. Freshman forward
Ola Kayode contributed 14 points going six for eight from the field. Freshman starting guard
Clinton Williams added 12 points.
Cypress has no time off heading north past Cypress up to Santa Monica. Santa Monica is 2-2 so far this season coming off of a 59-82 loss to L.A. Trade Tech. The two face off Friday at 3:00 pm at Santa Monica.
