Austin Named to First Team

Cypress, Calif. – The coaches of the Orange Empire Conference voted on the all-conference team Saturday and freshman guard Tim Austin to the first team. Austin led the Chargers in conference scoring (17.3 ppg) and rebounds (6.8 rpg). He scored well consistently throughout conference highlighted by a 25 point game against Santa Ana. Sophomore forward John Staats was named to the second team. Staats led Cypress in three-point field goals in conference (32) while averaging 11.8 points per game.
