Strong Performance Keeps Cypress Undefeated

El Cajon, Calif. - Cypress traveled to El Cajon Thursday morning to take on Cuyamaca in a road match. The Chargers made a strong showing at Cottonwood winning 371-388 to remain undefeated. Sophomore Scott Sexton led the Chargers as a medalist finishing the day three under par with a 69.
Cypress started strong with Sexton in the number one slot followed by a one under par performance by freshman Nick Garrett. Cypress finished with solid scores on the way to the 17 stroke win.
The Chargers (3-0) have a few days off before traveling to Palomar. They will take on the Comets Monday at 11:00 am at Twin Oaks.
