Cypress Suffers First Loss of the Season at Palomar

San Marcos, Calif. - Cypress traveled to Twin Oaks Monday taking on Palomar. The Chargers were unable to overtake the Comets on their home course losing 389-375. Freshman Caio Barbosa led Cypress with a four over par performance.
Cypress started well as number one golfer sophomore Scott Sexton came in tied at 77 with Palomar. Sophomore Mike Ryan finished the day for Cypress with a 77 as well.
Cypress (3-1) has just a day off before heading to Riverside Wednesday to take on the Tigers on the Victoria course. Riverside and Cypress tied for fifth at the OEC Tee Off Classic.
