Chargers Lose by Eight Strokes at Oak Creek

Irvine, Calif. - Cypress traveled to Oak Creek Monday to take on Irvine Valley at Oak Creek Golf Course. Despite defeating the Lasers earlier this season, the Chargers came up eight strokes short losing 382-400. Sophomore Mike Ryan led Cypress with a team best 78. The Chargers shot in the high 70s and low eighties while IVC came through with a strong number one performance at par which made the difference.
The Chargers (7-3) have just a day off before heading to Saddleback to take on the Gauchos. Cypress defeated the Gauchos at home earlier this year. The two face off at Tijera Creek Golf Course on Wednesday at 7:00 am.
