Santa Ana, Calif. - Cypress traveled to Santa Ana Wednesday to take on Saddleback in their second meeting this year. The Chargers inched away from the Gauchos towards the end of the day on the way to the 370-389 win. Freshman Mike Ryan continued to lead Cypress as the medalist with a two-under par 70 on the day.
Cypress fell behind slightly early but quickly made up for it with 77s by freshmen Nick Garrett and Caio Barbosa. Ryan sealed the win finishing the day with the 70.
Cypress (8-3) returns home for its final home match Monday at 10:00 am at Navy Golf Course. The Chargers will face Santiago Canyon, Santa Ana, and Palomar.
