Season Closes with a Loss to Orange Coast

Santa Ana, Calif. - Cypress traveled to the Santa Ana Golf Course Wednesday to take on Orange Coast in the final regular season match of the year. After defeating the Pirates earlier this year, Cypress could not repeat losing to OCC 864-386. Freshman Nicholas Garrett led Cypress shooting three over par on the day.
Cypress shot in the mid to high 70s including a 76 by Sophomore Michael Ryan and a 77 by sophomore Jin Kim. The scores could not keep up with the Pirates’ low 70s.
Cypress (11-4) concludes the regular season and will now head to the Orange Empire Conference Tournament starting Monday at the Los Serranos Golf Course.
