Carrington came to Cypress with 13 years of coaching experience starting with El Modena High School in 1997 until 2005. He then moved on to club coaching with the Gold Coast Xtreme BU19 team which included two state semifinal appearances. The team finished the 2010 season ranked 17th in the state and 76th in the nation. He currently works with the Wolfpack club. As a player, Carrington earned a national championship with Santa Ana College in 1999 where he was an All-American selection. He currently plays in the L.A. Premier League for FC Valhalla. He earned his Sports Science degree from Pendleton College in Manchester England in 2001.
