Cypress Midfielder Manuel Espinoza Commits to play at the Great Falls

He joins a talented squad that boasts the Frontier Conference's reigning player and coach of the year.

Cypress, Calif. – Cypress College men's soccer midfielder Manuel Espinoza just signed his letter-of-intent to play at the University of Great Falls in Great Falls, Mont. The Charger's sophomore is a Long Beach native, and attended Millikan High School before attending Cypress.
In his two seasons playing for Cypress, Espinoza finished with nine goals and five assists. As a freshman, Espinoza was a second-team All-Orange Empire Conference selection in 2009 after finishing second on the team in goals scored with seven, while picking up three assists.
At the University of Great Falls, Espinoza will join a talented men's soccer team coached by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, Northwest Region Coach of the Year, Paul Zazenski.
Zazenski was also a finalist for the NAIA National Coach of the year award after guiding the Argos to a berth in the Sweet 16 National Tournament. He will join a number of award winning players on the team like Frontier Conference Player of the Year Ryan O'Neil, as well as fellow Long Beach, Calif. native David Jimenez.
