Cypress Highlights: Will swim the 400 IM, 200 IM, and 200 breast stroke… led the 2007 squad placing fifth in the 400 yard IM, seventh in the 200 Yard Breast Stroke, and eighth in the 200 Yard IM in conference... his 400 Yard IM time was good enough for 18th in the state… was named the team’s Most Valuable Swimmer.
High School Highlights: A standout at Loara… holds five school records… a four time Most Valuable Swimmer.
Personal: Born on February 19th, 1988… parents are Rodrick and Joan Goyena… siblings are Maruja, Roderick Jr., and Melissa… came to Cypress because his sister swam here in 2004.
