Cypress Falls to the Gauchos and Pirates in Dual Meet

Mision Viejo, Calif. - Cypress travelled to Saddleback Friday to take on Saddleback and Orange Coast in a dual meet. The Chargers fell 141-66 against Saddleback and 128.5-75.5 against Orange Coast. Freshman Jeff Tsim led Cypress with a first place overall time of 2:04.16 in the 200 yard butterfly. His time is just over two seconds short of the state qualifying time.
Other standout performances included a first place finish against Orange Coast from Damontre Pamilton in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:09.85. Freshman Sonny Hoang finished first against OCC in the 200 yard individual medley with a time of 2:09.56. Freshman Sam Fandrich finished first against Saddleback in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:09.08.
Cypress has a week off before heading to Mt. Sac for the Mt. Sac Invitational on Friday.
