Automotive Students Dominate Auto Dealers Association Awards

Cypress College students earn more than half of the awards made by the Orange County Automobile Dealers Association.

Fifteen Cypress College automotive students were the recipients of scholarships provided by the Orange County Automobile Dealers Association last week. The number of recipients is more than half the total number of awards, 27, presented to Orange County auto technology students.

This year, Orange County students, who received between $500 and $1,000 each per semester, are enrolled in the auto technology programs at Cypress College, Irvine Valley College, Saddleback College, Fullerton College, or Golden West College.

The Cypress College students are: Eric Argueta; Anthony Cruz; Michael Doner; Alfonso Hernandez; Jason Kirkhuff; Luis Loera; Miles Mahoney; Andy Nguyen; Adrian Rivera; Junnior Rodriguez; Stephen Weston; Santos Zinzun; Jonathan Juliani; Ahmad Nassman; and Oscar Rodriguez.
