"West Side Story" Opens March 12 in Campus Theater

“West Side Story” — a re-telling of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet tragedy set in the Upper West Side of New York City, and one of the most celebrated musicals of all time — opens in the Campus Theater on March 12 at 8 p.m.

Additional performances are on March 13, 19 and 20, all at 8 p.m., and matinees are on Sundays, March 14 and 21, at 4 p.m.

The musical is directed by Jim Hormel and choreographed by Marie Hoffman. Music is by Leonard Bernstein with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. It is based on the book by Arthur Laurents and the conception of Jerome Robbins.
