This is Rockwell’s sixth year on the Charger coaching staff and is no stranger to Cypress softball. Rockwell was a two time State Championship player for the Chargers as a pitcher for the 1998 and 99 squads. Rockwell posted a career 64-5 record for Cypress including just one loss in 1999 with 216 strikeouts. Rockwell pitched in the last six games of the Championship series for Cypress and won Most Valuable Pitcher honors for the tournament. The Los Alamitos High School graduate is second in the career record book for wins at Cypress. Her efforts earned her a scholarship to the University of Louisville where she pitched for two years while earning her degree.
