Cypress Highlights: First year at Cypress.
At Marshall University: Appeared in 19 games for the Herd… bat .138 with seven RBI in 29 at bats... first collegiate hit was a homerun against University of the Pacific.
High School Highlights: Was a four-year standout for the Rebels… led Savanna to Four Orange League championships...was a four-time first team All-Orange League selection... as a sophomore, earned Defensive Player of the Year and Sophomore Athlete of the Year... won the Rebel of the Year Award for softball as a junior and senior... was named Orange League MVP and Second Team all-CIF as a senior... was the first female athlete to go directly to a four-year university on an athletic scholarship from Savanna HS… also played golf.
Personal: Born on August 11th, 1987… parents are Stephen and Peggy Strong… majoring in Human Development… favorite quote is, “those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.”
