Chargers Out-Swim the Dons

Cypress, Calif. - The Chargers hosted their first home meet Friday hosting the Dons of Santa Ana. Both the women’s and men’s teams came out on top as the women won 129-81 and the men dominated 129-22. Sophomore Kaitlin Griffith paced the Cypress women with a first place 100 freestyle finish with a time just under one minute. Griffith also led off the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay where Cypress won both.
Cristina Juarez took first in two individual events, the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:03.4 and the 500 freestyle at 5:42.6. Juarez also took place in both winning relay teams.
Cypress returns to action next Thursday at the Cuesta Invitational.
