Cypress Can’t Keep up at Golden West

Huntington Beach, Calif. - Cypress visited Golden West Friday to face the Rustlers at their place. Golden West proved too much to handle as Cypress could not keep pace losing 78-145. Freshman Lauren Hess proved to be a bright spot taking second place in a field of four in the 50M breastroke. Sophomore Elizabeth Robinson fared well taking second in a field of four in the 100M freestyle. Sophomore Kaitlin Griffith also placed second in the 100M I.M.
Cypress has a week off before facing Orange Coast at home. Cypress will host the Pirates next Friday at 2:00 pm.
