Cypress Falls to the Gauchos and Pirates in Dual Meet

Mission Viejo, Calif. - Cypress travelled to Saddleback Friday to take on Saddleback and Orange Coast in a dual meet. The Chargers fell 191-68 against Saddleback and 226-51 against Orange Coast. Freshman Kelsey Frieson led Cypress with a second place finish against Saddleback in the 50 yard freestyle with a 29.30 time and second against Orange Coast in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 1:05.62.
Other standout performances included a second place finish by sophomore Kelsey Mattes against Saddleback in the 200 yard medley and second against Orange Coast in the 100 yard breastroke.
Cypress has a week off before heading to Mt. Sac for the Mt. Sac Invitational on Friday.
