Cypress Battles to the End in Loss to Saddleback

The Gauchos earned a season sweep over the Chargers with Tuesday's win.

Cypress, Calif. - The Chargers traveled to Mission Viejo to play against Saddleback College on Tuesday. Although Cypress lost the team match in five consecutive singles contests, No. 1 one player Jamee Biadora came out with a third set win over the Gaucho's Avriel Tomaiko. Biadora took the first set, dropped the second, before coming back in the third set with strong strokes and aggressive plays in 6-4 win.
Biadora also got the second win at No. 1 doubles with her partner Chelsea Logan. Biadora and Logan had previously lost 8-2 in their last meeting, but improved this time around with an 8-6 victory over Tomaiko and Karley Pletcher.
The Chargers are gearing up to play Fullerton College at home on April 5 in a match scheduled for 2 p.m.
