Cypress Highlights: First year at Cypress.
At Bellevue University: Played in 10 matches for the Bruins in 2007… collected 9 kills and 9 blocks.
High School Highlights: A two year varsity standout for the Vikings… earned a Foothill League Championship as a senior… Was named all-Foothill League as a senior… an academic standout making the High Honor Roll as a senior and perfect attendance through all four years… also played basketball.
Personal: Born on March 13, 1989… parents are Donna and Gary Bird… majoring in business… came to Cypress because the, “atmosphere is very welcoming”… favorite quote is, “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.”
