How to Access Your Charger Book Pass Materials; Opt-Out Deadline is February 18
Receive all your required textbook-related course materials (eBooks, textbooks, and access codes) as part of the Charger Book Pass for no more than $100.
What is the Charger Book Pass?
This is a one-semester program in spring 2025 to provide an easy, cost-effective, single-price option for reducing textbook costs for our students. All students enrolled in one or more courses at Cypress College are automatically opted in to the program.
If you do not wish to use the Charger Book Pass, you MUST opt out of the program by February 18. Watch the “How to Opt Out” video for step-by-step instructions, then access the Opt-Out Portal.
How do I access my course materials?
EBooks can be found in your Canvas shell. After logging in, visit your course, and click on the “BryteWave Course Materials” link.
Access codes for digital learning platforms you’ll need for your course like Pearson MyLab, Mastering, and Revel are included in the Charger Book Pass! Step-by-step instructions for accessing your Pearson course content are available on the Charger Book Pass page under “Looking for your access code?”
Opt Out of the Program by February 18
Decided you’d prefer not to use the Charger Book Pass or it simply does not make financial sense for your class situation? Watch the “How to Opt Out” video, then access the Opt-Out Portal to opt out of the program.
If you opt out by the February 18 deadline, you will not be charged for the Charger Book Pass.
