DESCRIPTION:The Study Abroad Program will be offering a session in Buenos Aires\, Argentina this summer. The deadline for applications is March 15\, 2019. \nInformation sessions about the Buenos Aires summer program will be held on:\nTuesday\, February 19\n5:30-7 p.m.\nFullerton College\, Room 229 \nThursday\, February 21\n5:30-7 p.m.\nCypress College\, CCCPLX-419 \nFuture Study Abroad programs and information sessions include:\nKyoto\, Fall 2019\nMarch 5\n5:30-7 p.m.\nFullerton College\, Room 229 \nMarch 6\n5:30-7 p.m.\nCypress College\, CCCPLX-419 \nCape Town\, Winter 2020\nMarch 25\n5:30-7 p.m.\nFullerton College\, Room 229 \nMarch 27\n5:30-7 p.m.\nCypress College\, CCCPLX-419 \nLondon\, Spring 2020\nApril 8\n5:30-7 p.m.\nFullerton College\, Room 229 \nApril 10\n5:30-7 p.m.\nCypress College\, CCCPLX-419 \nAll the data indicates that students who participate in study abroad programs are more successful in their college careers: they do better academically\, enjoy school more\, are more likely to get into the college and university of their choice when they transfer\, and are hired more quickly upon graduation. And those are just the “measurable” advantages of participating in such a program. \nStudents will learn about these advantages\, and they will be coached in how to apply for scholarships and financial aid to make their participation possible with the help of their study abroad professors. \nFor more information on the Study Abroad Program in general\, go to the Study Abroad webpage.
