DESCRIPTION:Interculture Club is a club which serves as an opportunity for students of Cypress College to meet people from a variety of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. It is a club that celebrates diversity and promotes acceptance and tolerance for one another. Interculture Club seeks to promote awareness of different cultures. The objective of the Interculture Club is to create bridges between various people who come from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds and to expand the knowledge that peers have regarding one another’s cultural backgrounds. At every meeting students have the opportunity to learn about new cultures and try new customs\, dances\, and foods. Some of the events and activities the Interculture Club has planned include: international potluck\, international costumes\, a post-it challenge to practice kindness and tolerance\, and cultural discussions. DESCRIPTION:The Creative Guild is a club for the arts. It is a safe place to express your creative passions and meet others who share a similar interest and appreciations for art. Our goal is to introduce the various forms of creative expression to everyone. Our purpose is to bring creative minds together and to produce Sole Image\, a literary magazine of creative writing and artwork. Once a year\, we produce Sole Image\, a print journal. We also host creative workshops where artists can collaborate and receive feedback on their craft. We attend art walks\, open mics\, and film screenings.
