DESCRIPTION:Join Cypress Muslim Student Association Club during Islam Awareness Week for a Connecting with Islam Workshop and Hijab Day. The workshop will be held on Tuesday\, April 23\, at 4 p.m. in HUM-131\, and Hijab Day will be held Wednesday\, April 24 at 11 a.m. near the pond. \nAbout the Workshop\nThis workshop is about clearing misconceptions about Islam and Muslims\, as well as recognizing the common values Islam has with other religions. There will be a Q&A session with Brother Jamaal Zaheen from the IIOC Outreach Department. \nAbout Hijab Day\nLearn more about why Muslim women wear the hijab\, and get to try one on!
