DESCRIPTION:The Charger Experience Program\, Puente\, EOPS Program\, and the Spanish Club\, in collaboration with the President’s Office and the Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee\, invite you to celebrate Cypress College’s first Dia de Los Muertos event! Join us for a night full of entertainment\, including Mariachi\, Ballet Folklorico\, face painting\, a special streaming of the film “Coco\,” pan dulce\, and more\, as we celebrate the return of loved ones who have passed.\n \n\n\nMake an Ofrenda \n\n\nAn important aspect of this holiday is the creation of ofrendas/altares that commemorate those who have gone before us with the inclusion of photographs\, Cempasuchil flowers\, skulls\, colorful decor\, and candles. We eagerly encourage you to sign up to create your own ofrenda! This can be done individually\, as a group\, department\, club\, etc. The more the merrier!    \n\n\nPlease complete the Dia de Los Muertos RSVP form\, which includes a sign-up section for an ofrenda!\n \n\n\n\nEvent Details:  \n\n\n\nThursday\, November 2\, 2023  \n\n\n5 -8:30 p.m. (Check in begins at 4:45 p.m.)  \n\n\nLocation: Campanile \n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:SEA and Japanese Culture Club presents “Japanese Legendary Anime AKIRA and Cultural Night” Friday\, Nov. 17 4-7 p.m. in CCCPLX216 lecture room. \nWe will have: \n\nFree Japanese food and drinks\nThe AVC (Art Visionary Club) Exhibition\nThe “Funky Family\,” Gary Gopar’s student band\nA Japanese cultural presentation by JCC (Japanese Culture Club)\nA cosplay fashion show\nA screening of the legendary anime film AKIRA\n“Celebration of Dance 2023″ will start at 7:00 PM in the Cypress College Theater.\n\nThis event is an excellent opportunity for students to collaborate with their fellow students. They can learn together and celebrate the diversity in our community with a variety of entertainment by our students. \nPlease feel free to dress in cosplay!
