SUMMARY:LIFE Program: Liberating Scholars Educational Training
DESCRIPTION:Brittany Morton and The Breaking Bars Community Network (many of whom are from Homeboy Industries) have extensively researched\, compiled\, and organized information and resources for community college faculty and staff to utilize when working with formerly incarcerated students. This training will enable participants to provide equity-minded and culturally competent services to this student population on Cypress College’s campus.
