DESCRIPTION:Presenter: Amber Rose González\, Ph.D.\nWhen: April 26\, 2019\, 8:30–11:30 a.m.\nWhere: Fullerton College\, Humanities\, 515 \nDescription: This workshop will provide participants with an analytical toolkit based in critical ethnic\, gender\, and queer studies. We will apply frameworks from these fields in order to better understand issues LGBTQ+ students\, staff and faculty face in higher education generally and at NOCCCD campuses specifically. This workshop will be hands-on and discussion based and will ask participants to be open\, honest\, and self-reflective in order to contribute to an engaging and liberatory learning environment. \nPresenter Bio: Amber Rose González is an Associate Professor and the Coordinator of Ethnic Studies Department at Fullerton College.
