DESCRIPTION:FITE (From Incarceration To Empowerment) Club’s screening of the documentary: FITE. \n“FITE (From Incarceration Thru Education)” is a documentary of the founding of UC Berkeley’s Underground Scholars program. This program was groundbreaking at the time—and specifically for Cal students who were previously incarcerated. \nThe screening will be followed with a Q & A from some of the Cal students featured in the film. The audience will be encouraged to pose questions to the panelists. \nAudience members will be given an opportunity to network with other allies and partners in the field.
