Babak is the author of South (forthcoming 2023) and Floating Notes (2018) and will be sharing his unique experience of writing and publishing while also working as a full-time engineer. He will be visiting us virtually via zoom on Tuesday\, April 18 at 1 p.m.!Similar to our wonderful past Visiting Writer series events\, we will be hosting a conversation + Q&A with Babak (1 p.m.)\, followed by an optional workshop (approximately 2:15 p.m.). In this workshop\, Babak will guide participants (students and interested faculty) through activities aimed to encourage playfulness in the act of writing and giving everyone the courage to simply write.
